Every leader request for support is assigned a unique ticket number which can be used to track the progress of the request online. On Saturday, November 10, officers and members of the Hawaii Macintosh & Apple Users’ Society, Inc. (HMAUS) will host the HMAUS Apple Harvest, and this year’s Harvest will be amazing. Imagine presentations by Macworld Senior Editor Chris Breen, Star Trek Nation’s Rod Roddenberry and Que author Gary Rosenzwieg: they will all be doing remote presentations for HMAUS during the event.
On site, local Apple pros Beth Grech, Doc Rock, Jerome Koehler and Ross Rasmussen will add to the fun as members gather at the local Dave and Busters showroom for the Apple Harvest breakfast buffet.

User group members know that Ben Waldie wears many hats: president of Automated Workflows, LLC, a company offering AppleScript and workflow automation consulting services to Mac-based businesses, founder of the Philadelphia Area AppleScript User’s Group, Macworld and UGU presenter, host of the Mac Automation Made Simple video training series and author of many popular books.

Saginaw Macintosh Users Group
On November 14, members and officers of the Capitol Macintosh User Group (CapMac) will host an OS X server workshop at the public access channelAustin studios in Austin, Texas. The studio depends on OS X for its day-to-day operations and will be offering a tour of a facilities as part of the meeting and workshop. Topics covered will include OS X Server capabilities and requirements, planning server needs, network settings, software installation and configuration.
In addition, CapMac and channelAustin will co-host a Shop Safely Online Workshop on November 8.

On Wednesday, November 28, the DMV Creative Pro User Group (DMVCPUG) of Washington, Maryland and Virginia, will host its combined November and December meeting with a special event during the Government Video Expo (GVEXPO), one of the East Coast’s largest gatherings of video and broadcasting pros.
With demos by Adobe’s user-group favorites Dave Helmly and Trip Gotelli, a look at aerial photography using the remotely-controlled OctoCopter, a showcase of three top films made in the region, major prizes, wonderful networking opportunities and a look at some great new products, what more could an Expo attendee want?

On November 15, the LA Web Professionals group brings their popular design camp to the Barnsdall Gallery Theatre in Hollywood. The evening event will include sessions on responsive design using HTML5 and CSS3, techniques for JQuery and CSS, additional sessions, a raffle and refreshments.
