January 24,1984 holds a special place in the hearts of Mac user groups: Steve Jobs introduced the Macintosh personal computer at Apple’s annual shareholder meeting and truly changed history. Although the meeting was held almost 34 years ago, sometimes it seems like it was just yesterday….
Just two weeks later, he presented to the Macintosh to the Boston Computer Society.
Followed by a panel discussion that included Bill Atkinson, Steve Capps, Owen Densmore, Andy Hertzfeld, Bruce Horn, Rony Sebok, Burrell Smith and Randy Wigginton. Steve Wozniak, not part of the Macintosh team joined them as well.
Whether you stepped into the Apple stream with the Apple I, the beloved MacPlus, a luggable or a Blackbird PowerBook 500, Newton PDA, that first QuickTake camera, a Raspberry iBook, Flower Power iMac, iPod, iPhone, or even an Apple Watch, something amazing was happening at Apple. What memories do you have?
